THE GREAT EAST AFRICAN TRIP
African Cream Music presents a double whammy of the finest East African music, featuring some of the top classic and modern artists from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi.

This double CD compilation contains some of the greatest classic and contemporary hits of East Africa. There are heavyweights like Samba Mapangala from Kenya, one of the most famous and loved musicians in East Africa.There’s also Super Mazembe, a legendary crossover band from Congo to East Africa. Another luminary is KORA award winner and Kenya’s top male solo artist, Eric Wainaina.

Moving to Tanzania, there’s Karubandika, one of the most enduring songs of East Africa’s golden era of big bands. Kidum is contemporary Burundi’s top musician and one of the most popular East African solo artists. Uganda weighs in with a variety of music. There’s Priscilla & Qute Kaye, members of the new generation of Ugandan music that comprises mainly energetic dance rhythms. You’ll also find Anyina, one of the most outstanding artists to step onto the Ugandan musical stage.
