Remixed and re-mastered by talented sound engineer Gavan Eckhart, your soul will be moved by its evocative and atmospheric rhythms. Taken from some of the films, TV series and documentaries that Miller has worked on and given a special touch by Eckhart, uncover the mysteries of the continent with music that unfolds magically with each listen.

Renowned composer Philip Miller has worked with some of the most innovative filmmakers and artists to emerge from South Africa. He has composed soundtracks for many local and international film and television productions as well as working with internationally acclaimed artist William Kentridge. His creative talents as a composer for film, has been recognised with several awards at the SAFTAs (South African Film and Television Awards). His most recent award was on February 20th 2010 where he was honoured with a SAFTA for Best Music Composer for the feature film White Lion.

Talented sound engineer Gavan Eckhart has worked with many prolific South African bands both in the studio and live arenas. His dedication to the creation of world class African music has allowed for an intimate knowledge of traditional and modern sound palettes. All of his experience has allowed for an organic transformation of Philip’s powerful film scores into downtempo, enjoyable soundscapes, pulsating with the spirit of Africa.
